Nthusi is a Strategic Cybersecurity GRC Leader with over 18 years of expertise in Information Security & Assurance, 7 years in IT strategy and project management, and 5 years in Data Privacy and Law. She holds globally recognized certifications including ITIL, COBIT®5, Implementing the NIST Cybersecurity Framework Using COBIT® 2019, CGRC, PMP, CIPP(CA), and CIPT, and is also credentialed and trained in CRISC, SABSA, and COBIT® 2019 Assessor. She additionally holds an MSc in Information Security and Assurance.
Throughout her career, Nthusi has delivered strategic cybersecurity programs spanning policy and standards development, third-party and supply chain risk assessments, and both on-premise and cloud security architecture reviews. She has led the design and execution of cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps, ensuring governance alignment, resilience, and measurable business impact. Known for her ability to connect technology initiatives with organizational objectives, she applies AI-aware, practical, and future-ready approaches to empower organizations.
